Chronic Rhinosinusitis (CRS) is a condition where the sinuses, which are air-filled spaces in the face, become swollen and inflamed for a long time. This can cause symptoms like nasal blockage, facial pain, and nasal discharge. The study is focused on adults with CRS who do not have nasal polyps and have not improved with previous treatments. The main goal is to see how well a new treatment called the LYR-210 System works in reducing these symptoms.
The LYR-210 System is a powder for inhalation that contains a substance called mometasone furoate, which is a type of medication that helps reduce inflammation. In this study, participants will receive either the LYR-210 System or a sham procedure, which is a treatment that looks like the real one but does not contain the active medication. The study will compare the effects of the LYR-210 System to the sham procedure over a period of 24 weeks.
Participants will be monitored for changes in their symptoms, such as nasal blockage, facial pain, and nasal discharge, to see if the LYR-210 System provides relief. The study aims to provide more information on the safety and effectiveness of this new treatment option for people with Chronic Rhinosinusitis.
